THREE British players will fight it out tonight for the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event 2010 title and one of the most coveted bracelets in poker.
Roland de Wolfe, James Bord and Nicholas Levi have all made the WSOPE final table at London's Empire Casino and are in the hunt for the £830,401 first prize. De Wolfe is the best-placed of the home grown players, with 1,377,000 chips remaining.
The 31-year-old, who boasts nearly $5million in live tournament winnings, won his first WSOP bracelet last year, pocketing $246,616 in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low. But a win here would easily eclipse that and cement his position as Britain's leading current player.
Levi is also a hugely experienced player, with $765,805 in career winnings, and Bord boasts five WSOP cashes in his brief two-year pro career, so the big Americans on the final table face a fierce battle.
Their charge is led by chip leader Dan Fleyshman, the Californian who came from nowhere to lead with a commanding stack of 1,946,000.
All American eyes had been on Phil Ivey - but he busted in 19th yesterday when he moved in with AsTh against Roland Lee's AcKh, sacrificing all his remaining 440,000 chips and handing Lee a huge stack to take into today's final table.
