THE PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) may be six months away...but that's never stopped us day dreaming here at Pokerjolt.
The PCA will be back in January 2011 and online satellite tournaments are already underway with packages to the Bahamas worth $15,750 up for grabs.
Pokerstars is expecting a field of more than 2,000 players to head to Paradise Island for the main event.
The cheapest way to qualify this time is to go for free via a new idea, Mega-Path Qualifiers, a nine-step program that could lead to PCA glory worth millions. Players can register on the Stars for just 20 Frequent Player Points (FPPs).
It can happen too - Darren Keys, who won $150,000 at last season's PCA, won his seat for 75 FPPs. Successful satellite players will receive nine nights accommodation at the Atlantis Resort, US$1,000 for expenses and their seat - all of which is worth nearly $16,000.
* The 2011 PCA Poker Festival runs from January 7-16, with the $10,000+300 Main Event scheduled for January 8-14. Full details at http://www.caribbeanpokeradventure.com
